(i) Before posting, make use of the board search feature! You get there by clicking the 'search' button. The search feature is self-explanatory, so with a bit of practice you will quickly find what you want. You can make use of wildcards ('*'), e.g. 'icq*'. We highly recommend making use of the search feature, it is a fast way to gain information. Using the search feature will avoid multiple threads dealing with the same subject.

(ii) Only post in the forum that matches your topic! The board is divided into several forums with sub-forums. If you pay attention and read the titles of the forums, you should be able to figure out which forum to post in. Make use of the search function if you are unsure about where to post. Repeatedly violating this rule will result in a warning from an admin.

(iii) No double and/or cross-posting in different forums! Double and cross posting results in off-topic threads. Generally, your post isn't important enough to be posted into different forums. Violating this rule will result in a warning from an admin. Extreme spamming can cause your banning entirely from the site.

(iv) Any new thread must have a title with relevant information to the topic you want to discuss. The name of a thread is just like the headline in a newspaper; it helps you to select threads personally relevant for you. Thread titles like 'looking for...' 'please help', 'I have a problem', 'please read' or 'what's your opinion' are not allowed. Thread titles that use shock value or humor or any other attempt to get extra attention should be avoided. Repeatedly ignoring this rule will result in a warning from an admin.

(v) If you want to address a member personally, write an email to that person or make use of the 'private message' (PM) feature. Private communication on the forum is forbidden. This is not a chat room. The forum contains versatile PM capabilities. Simply clicking on the PM button on different locations will send a PM to the specific member. Incoming PMs are usually immediately displayed on the screen using JavaScript (a "pop-up"). In addition, you have a PM button at the bottom of the pages. Members' email addresses can be found in their profile.

(vi) There is absolutely no room for slander, insults, and bashing here! Keep a civil tone to your posting! Abuse of fellow forum members will not be tolerated. The rules for newsgroups pertain here, as well. Do not forget that you are communicating with human beings. Remember: treat others as you want to be treated. Breaking this rule can result, depending on the severity of the violation, in a warning by administrator, temporary ban on posting, or a total ban from the site.

(vii) Advertisement and corporate/business spamming are not allowed on this forum! No advertisements for personal/business homepages are permitted! This is a gaming forum, not your advertisement space. The only exception for this rule is in your signature (within reason) or you agree to the terms set by the admin (pm/email an admin for the terms). Ignoring this rule will result in a warning from an admin or a ban from the site.

(viii) 'Pushing' or bumping' threads is not allowed! In other words, do not post solely in order to make a thread "rise to the top" of the forum. If your thread has no response, then after a reasonable amount of time feel free to respond in case it was just missed. This is better than and preferred over reposting the same thread. Breaking this rule will result in a warning from an admin.

(ix) Signature restrictions: Pictures may not be larger than 600px*200px (W*H), huge animated graphics are unnecessary. Think of those NOT on broadband. Breaking this rule will result in a warning from an admin.

(x) ABSOLUTELY NO: cheats, warez, software cracks, advertisements (personal or business), insults to individuals, groups, or nationalities, sedition, anti-Semitism, pornography [etc.]. Links to any pages containing the topics mentioned above are prohibited as well. The administrators reserve the right to add to this list. This applies to the entire site. Don't do it, you will be banned.

(xi) Stick to the threadsubject, do not force it off-topic. If something interesting develops you can always create a new thread.

(xii) Anything in these forums must be posted in English only with the exception of "Squad and Clan Advertising" Forums. But please also offer a short translation of your post in the "Squad and Clan Advertising" forums so that all users are able to understand you.

(xiii) Mutli using will no longer be tollerated if you are found to have 2 or more accounts you user name/s banned for a period of time determined by the admin/mod who has banned you

(xiiii) members are asked to keep an eye on the board and any suspept post/topics should be reported to the mods/admins also members are reminded to keep their passwords safe from others and if you are using a public computer please dont selcet the remember information option.

(xv) Please keep all language at a pg level. This rule will be held at a high reguard. Our wordsensor system will detect and rewrite cussing, so admins and mods know you are, you will be punished.

(xvi) These rules are subject to additions and/or modifications at any time. However, if something is found to be worthy of a new addition to this list of rules, the member who brought about the addition will not have any action taken against them. They will simply be shown the new rule and warned not to make the same offense again.
